Make Windows 7 look like Windows XP

If you have installed Windows 7 on your desktop or laptop you might be missing your old theme and look of Windows XP. Well, you can now have the same look and feel of Windows XP while using Windows 7.

All you need to do is download a free software called Classic Shell which adds a start menu of Windows XP. After adding start menu you need to go to personalization menu (By right clicking on your desktop) and then select “Change Theme”.

Now change your theme to Windows Classic and move to Classic Shell to change the start menu to Windows XP style.

After setting theme and start menu you can now download Windows XP wallpaper and set it as desktop background. And your are done.

NOTE: If you are using Windows 7 Starter edition then you will also need to install a software called Personalization Panel to change your desktop background.
